Many examples of an agentsy agent, how about an old-fashioned good friend or colleague who understands the individual's needs and ideally supports their style of agency... or nowadays some folks will choose or only have access to a cyber agent human equivalent(?), which could work but it might be dangerous...they might try a cat first.

Ah, yes! Leah here- I’m an agent with the Agency Agency- helping you help me help you in your agency agency! We are here to assist collaboratively in the thresholds of time-altering creation in a collaborative fashion and find each other amidst chaos, violation, heavy boundaries, and sculpted realities with lots of circle talk- then we do stuff together:) Welcome!

Another example of agency relations is danger, which you covered, and Huxley does beautifully in his last novel, Island. But let's contemplate the act of driving in traffic… When we are at the wheel, we are ideally being careful, but are the other drivers? How do we know if everyone around us is in perfect harmony with the road? After years of driving, I now see the road as a place where people practice care, because driving is one of the most dangerous activities in the world. I live on a farm in the wilderness and use a lot of tools such as chainsaws, tractors, experimental get-it-done contraptions, and hacks, which sometimes fail, putting a comrade or me in danger. If I/we lose focus, I /we could be hurt, or even killed. This “strong agent,” if kept focused, supports a type of freedom of clarity and survival in dangerous situations…

indeed. and yet it comes and goes. whether or not we recognize the various agents. who is driving the bus? sandra bullock in speed or Freddie Kruger. internal bleeding is normalised. only artists can write, sing or paint about it. silence is the weapon of sadism. living and obeying to dead-mans cult-ture that legalises disciplining children in corporol punishment. Jason Bourne living in a good-enough marriage like Truman living in Pleasantville on revolutionary road pretending the world is turning into the mr robot TV series heading for walle. oh well... keep justifying consuming - because appearances first - because everyone else is, like our parents did. because...

because goslings

The gosling problem is how I think about it

The imprinting years of 0-7 years

How the law legalised raising little boys in cry-it-out and time-out

Teaching them to avoid feeling

Shaming them for obeying orders to authority

Laughing at them for following the leader

Abandoning them for not knowing how to be with a real woman

Addiction to taking pleasure from ai

began in their teens with penthouse

nobody protected the innocence of the sacred reproductive realm

seed on speed stops working

malfunctions and performance

wombs stop wanting

justifying outsourcing

pleasure and reproduction

universe 25 by John Calhoun

noticed the patter of asexuality in his mice kingdom of the 1970's

overpopulation leads to boredom

hedonism feeds dopamine addiction

we take anything

we have so many outlets for taking dopamine

enough to distract and deny we are addicts

denial itself IS the doorway to the lie

every denial we make is the perspective

hiding the feelings we refuse to carry

so we repress them

we defend OUR distractions

OUR expectations and paranoias

OUR controls are justified

an avoidant is not unkind

they are terrified

a wounded empath is not kind

they too are terrified

of shame, of pain, of failure

each one attracted to each other

people and countries

using each other's vices

until you stop

see yourself gorging

see your insecurities performing

and the purge comes

and comes

pollinating into eternity

make it stop

everyday reruns

uninvited

your wings are heavier with the truth

but stronger

and somehow you feel lighter

like floating on rocky waves

staying alive

grabbing on to others who see you

eyes witnessing truth

there is suffering

damn... there really is

suffering

and that's what turn 16 feels like

a hopelessness

Omg. the adults are all avoiding

they are all addicted and running

angry politicians and teachers

16-19 years old is the nightmare of eyes wide open

or wide shut in food, sex, booze and drugs

or addiction to perfection and winning

they all are about control

unchecked becomes addiction to power

you hope ...

to break the spell

but anxious normalised is delusional fear denial

and we medicate it to keep the avoidant falling in line

anxiety is a good thing

same as depression

it means you are feeling

a human

the feelings that cause pain want our attention

not to be put to sleep in cry-it-out and time-out

stonewalling your feelings with white pharma is doorway to our denials

teenagers are NOT being taught how they work

Dan siegel should be legal

Not corporol punishment

I wish someone told me at 16 that seeing the lies was a good thing

It helps to know a mind that can see control, defence and manipulation is normal

it is not crazy to see trickery by parents, teachers, Drs and law enforcement.

we are raised to obey as 0-7 year olds, like goslings that have their wings cut off.

the patriarchy want us from getting and hating each other and ourselves.

they make money on our pain.

the three biggest industries are weapons, sex, big pharm.

did you know that?

our suffering is monetized.

but we can move.

we can speak.

we can leave.

we can stop.

people unite.

hello Patrick, I thought I deleted this comment when I tried to edit the typos. Now you brought it back to me. Man. She goes on. I am a one off wonder. I never mean to go so long. I hope you know it was not about you, or anyone in particular… you were my beautiful muse. I am interested in increasing agency too… I know nothing but somehow I always have so much that falls out at once… it's a fascinating topic for sure ❤️

reading your comment reminded me almost too much of a life I did and did not live... I enjoyed the lack of punctuation, etc...

that tells me you have travelled many mountains and met many people. it's nice to meet you 🌳

Powerful. This is exactly what I needed to read and contemplate in this moment.
