I'm wondering if the story you remember was about the parents of the murdered 14 year old girl, Reena Virk, who forgave the murderers: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Reena_Virk. My kids went to Reena's school here in Victoria BC.

I want to introduce you to Brian Swimme who has the big picture I resonate with: https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/767509795. He's doing a webinar on Wednesday with The Scientific and Medical Network, an auspice you surely should engage with if you don't, that looks to incorporate spirit into science. Here's Brian's webinar: https://scientificandmedical.net/events/prof-brian-swimme-cosmogenesis-an-unveiling-of-the-expanding-universe/

I, like you all, receive a lot of emails. Too many, in fact. I received this post and couldn’t remember signing up or who it’s even from, opened it up, immediately saw John V. mentioned and relaxed a little and did not hit delete. This was not a TL;DR - nope, it’s a ‘too long, must remember to take more time later to read whole thing’! Second time that Bernardo fellow has been mentioned to me in 24 hrs. Your pictures made me *actually* LOL, especially the one about not being to afford walls! Ah, well- thanks for this most interesting post which I look forward to pondering at length. A little later.

I was wondering if you have considered speaking to the people who actually have maintained psychedelic practices for thousands of years, shamanistic cultures in the Andes/Amazon, particularly Sibundoy Valley, where ayahuasca is originally from. Wouldn't it make sense to at least listen to what they have to say, the people who kept the flame alive while western civilization was burning witches and murdering each other at an industrial scale for centuries?

I continue to learn from many other students and enjoy new/old ideas. My focus on Regenerative Stewardship is for the earth. It was our commandment, humans "charge" to take care of each other and the earth. Kiss The Ground and Moms Across America are doing very important work. Thanks
